Nista, a Montreal-based Icelandic music band, will be performing live at the Drake Hotel Underground in Toronto on July 25 at 8pm.
Nista is a musical project developed in Canada by lead-singer Stina Agustsdottir. The alternative music can be identified by its eclectic melodies, innovative instrumentation and quirky lyric writing. The half-Icelandic group, with lead-singer Stina Agustsdottir and guitar player Tommi Gunnarsson are both Icelanders living in Montreal.
Nista will be performing original material along with a few selected songs originally written by Johann G. Johannsson, but completely rearranged by Nista. The songs by Johann G. are a part of an experimental project called Concrete World.
Nista will be sharing the stage with another band hailing from Montreal called Unireverse.
